The objective of these set of projects is to develop industry standard CAD modelling proficiency, specifically learning best practice in Siemens NX11.
By using 'Siemens Learning Advantage' and referring to 'BS8888 Technical Product Documentation and Specification' to ensure that the Engineering drawings and CAD models are done to best practice as recognised by the industry.
PROBLEM 1 
Creating 3D models - Gear Housing  
Interpret BS8888 drawings to create accurate CAD models.
SOLUTION 1
Created an accurate CAD model in Siemens NX 11 when provided with an engineering drawing of a gear housing. Important consideration was placed on accurate dimensions and correct constraints, so it is flexible for design changes in industry.

PROBLEM 2 
Creating ENGINEERING DRAWINGS  
Interpret CAD model to create BS8888 Engineering Drawings
SOLUTION 2
Created BS8888 industry standard engineering drawing when provided with a model file in NX 11. This engineering drawing includes a section view to provide further detail.

PROBLEM 3 
Creating ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS  
Create an assembly model in SIEMENS NX 11 and produce Engineering Drawings from this to BS8888 industry standard.
SOLUTION 3
Created an assembly model from the parts provided, ensuring that it is constrained correctly, as well as creating an exploded view ensuring that all of the parts match up. 
From these models, three engineering drawings were produced to the BS8888 industry standard; Isometric, Assembly and Exploded view.
